You top up first, then usage is deducted from your balance. Your console always shows the balance and roughly how long it lasts.

Questions
What is included?
A virtual server with full root access, a dedicated IPv4 address, Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, monthly transfer and a 99.95% uptime SLA. Every size gets the same platform; only the resources differ.
Do I get root?
Yes. Full root over SSH. You install and run your own software, and you are in charge of what runs on the server.
What happens if I run out of credit?
Your servers are suspended: they go offline, and your data is kept. Top up within 7 days and they start again as they were. After that, they are deleted and cannot be recovered.
Can I move my server out?
Yes. You have root, so you can copy anything off at any time. There is no contract — you can stop whenever you like.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. Use Request change in the console. A person on our team handles the resize with you.
Where are the servers?
In US, EU and Asia regions. You pick the region when you request a server.
